What we did

What we discovered
Existing old penetrations were not fire rated to the current code. Because the substrates were altered, these penetrations had to be reviewed and upgraded to comply with the current Building Code.
Making the next one easier
On future fitout projects, legacy penetrations should be inspected early before alterations begin so upgrade requirements are known from the start.
